 As the son of a drug dealer from the streets of Detroit, MI., Pat Schatzline soon had his destiny changed when his parents became Christians and later went into full-time ministry. At the age of seventeen Pat took his first youth pastorate while still a senior in high school. While at Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida, he met his future wife, Karen. They were married in September of 1990, and their Son Nathaniel was born in November of 1991. As Evangelists, they travel the US and Canada speaking and seeing powerful results. The vision of Ministry Seat Ministries is very simple. It is to rescue, restore, and revive a generation for Jesus Christ. They believe in "Pursuing His Presence" and the "Fellowship of the Unashamed". Formerly residing in Fayetteville,NC, Pat and Karen felt God leading them back to the city of Birmingham, Alabama. This is currently where the coporate offices of Mercy Seat Ministries and the Forerunner School are located. Here the Forerunner School of Ministry, a school designed to raise up young warriors to preach the gospel, has continually grown and is now about to explode into a college where young men and women of God can be trained in different areas of ministry. This is also where Pat, Karen, Nate & Abby, their daughter they've adopted from China (October of 2003), now reside.
Before, founding Mercy Set Ministries, Inc., Pat and Karen were youth pastors
for three powerful churches. First in Tampa, Fl., Pleasant Grove Assembly of
God, Second in Indianapolis, In at Lakeview Christian Center, and third in
Decatur, AL at Calvary assembly of God. While they were youth pastors they saw
supernatural results both spiritually and numerically. Under their direction
over the years they have seen over 150 go into fulltime ministry. Known for
their passion and intense desire to see revival they both began to feel the
pulling of the Spirit to travel nationally. Now as one of America’s leading
church revivalist, youth communicators, university speakers, and conference
speakers they travel abound seeing miracles, salvation, and signs and wonders.
With high energy, purpose, and a touch of humor they communicate an
uncompromising gospel. Over the years they have literally seen hundreds of
thousands come to the Lord in their meetings. Churches, Families, and students
have experienced supernatural outpourings of God while sitting under this
ministry.
Pat has ministered at many powerful places including the Brownsville Revival.
He is also the European International Director for Global Pastors Network headed
by Dr. Bill Bright and Dr. John Maxwell, as well as serving on the Assembly of
God national evangelist board. With an intense schedule that stays full year
round Pat and Karen have established a reputation for bringing purpose to all
through the power of Christ. They minister in Churches, Schools, Conferences,
Outreaches, Retreats, Camps, leadership conferences, Men’s and Women’s
conferences, Marriage retreats, and leadership Conferences. |
