Currently one of America’s leading church revivalists, youth communicators, university speakers, and conference speakers, Pat travels globally seeing salvations, miracles, signs & wonders. With a schedule that stays full year-round, Pat & Karen have established a reputation for bringing purpose through the power of Christ. They minister in churches, schools, stadiums, outreaches, retreats, camps, leadership conferences, men’s and women’s conferences, and marriage retreats. They have ministered at some of the largest youth conferences in the world. They travel often to Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Venezuela, and Canada fulfilling the great commission.

Pat Schatzline’s destiny was altered the day his parents, drug dealers on the streets of Detroit, turned to the Lord and later went into full-time ministry. At the age of seventeen, Pat took his first youth pastorate while still a senior in high school. While at Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida, he met his future wife, Karen. They were married in September of 1990 and their son, Nathaniel, was born in November of 1991. In 2003, Pat, Karen, and Nate went to China to rescue their beautiful jewel, Abigail—adopting her as the newest member of their family.

Pastor/ Evangelists Pat & Karen travel the U.S., Canada, and the nations speaking and seeing powerful results. The vision of Mercy Seat Ministries, Inc., established in 1997, is simply this: to rescue, restore, and revive a generation for Jesus Christ. They believe wholeheartedly in ‘Pursuing His Presence and the Fellowship of the Unashamed.’

In 2001, Mercy Seat Ministries established The Forerunner School of Ministry—a unique training ground designed to raise up young warriors to preach the gospel. They have seen hundreds of leaders come out of this program. Pat and Karen often travel with a team of students from the Forerunner School of Ministry and they travel completely on a love offering basis. Mercy Seat Ministries also has several evangelist that travel the nation under their covering.

Karen travels not only with Pat, but also on her own speaking at conferences. Karen is known for her messages to women of all ages. She ministers with purity and meekness, and her most well-known messages include, ‘Daddy’s Little Princess,’ and ‘Issues for Teenage Girls.’ Karen speaks with an undying love to restore purity to a generation. Her messages reach moms, pastors’ wives, and single women alike. Thousands of women of all ages have found restored purity, purpose, and direction while under the ministry of Karen Schatzline. Karen also over see’s Girlfriends Woman’s Ministries at The Summit Church, and spends a great deal of time training the girls of The Forerunner School of Ministry.

In 2004, Pat and Karen both received honorary doctorates from St. Thomas University in Florida. Most recently, Pat and several key leaders across America established “The Corporate Influencers Training” because of the desire to see the heart of corporate America changed.

Pat is also the contributing author of a new book called “The Second Mile of Ministry.” He is presently working on three different books. He has served on many national boards across America. He currently is Co-Chair of youth ministry for the Second Billion Soul Harvest.

In October of 2006, Pat & Karen started ‘The Summit Church at Birmingham’ to reach their city. Pastor Sean and Enid Cherry joined the Schatzline’s in a vision to launch the Summit Church. Since the opening of ‘The Summit Church at Birmingham’ they have seen the beginning of a great move of God. It is exploding in life as the entire staff focuses on changing a city. The church has grown explosively both numerically and spiritually. God has allowed the church to become a major influence in the community.
